• Farinoman Fou - bread, bread, and more bread.  shelves of delicious, amazing, crusty bread...

• Les Bains Paris - le sigh, I heart this hotel

Tuscany

• La Bandita (Pienza) - my absolute favorite place to stay... possibly in the world.  LP's, sparkling wine, beautiful rooms...

• Trattoria Fiorella (Pienza) - incredible homemade pasta, wines, and tiramisu

• Ristorante Il Rossellino (Pienza) - small, intimate restaurant run by a husband (chef) and wife (master of everything)

• La Grotta (Multepuciano) - delicious lunch spot and close by to explore San Biagio

• Salcheto Winery - tasty wine, beautiful setting

• Poggio Antico Winery - a nice spot if you are looking for a delicious red

La Spezia

• Il Cantiere del Sapore - single, multi-course meal, tasty, affordable wines

Amalfi Coast

• Acquapazza (Cetara, small fishing village south of Amalfi) - specialty is fish and pasta

• La Concha del Sogno (Nerano) - small restaurant and beach club

• Sirenuse (Positano)
